Hello My Friends,
I’m not going to lie, so far this month has been rough up on Ferguson mountain. The dogs both had teeth removed (they are old, it happens) and then both had a bad reaction to the pain meds. Think 120 pounds of German Shepherd with a distressed butt. I’m scarred, the kids were horrified, the floors will never be the same.
I wanted something a bit different to get my mind out of this house and into a completely different world. Enter my first freebie from C. Alice Cummings. I’ve heard good things about her books and was lucky enough to get y’all a free copy of this one this month.
Feel free to share this link with any friends who need a good freebie. They will have to sign up for her email, but we all know the drill. Plus, when we fall in love with her writing we will know all about future books right?
Right.
Power. Desire. Consequence. (Now with 100% more chaos.)
A future queen with a conscience problem. A dangerously handsome guard sworn to hate her. A kingdom held together by prophecy, politics, and terrible life choices.
The Cord Between Two Queens: The Parody is a sharp-tongued, enemies-to-lovers fantasy romp that skewers epic romantasy tropes while still delivering forbidden attraction, deadly politics, and emotionally irresponsible royalty.
Princess Eradena is supposed to become a flawless ruler. Instead, she keeps questioning executions, falling for the wrong man, and accidentally threatening the foundations of the realm. Malachi is sworn to protect the crown — not fall for the woman who may destroy it.
Assassins, secret prophecies, magical bloodlines, and unresolved sexual tension collide in this fast-paced, satirical retelling of a deadly serious world.
Epic fantasy stakes. Romantic chaos. Zero chill.
Perfect for fans of romantasy, political intrigue, and readers who like their destiny with a side of sarcasm.
Leave a comment and let me know if you downloaded it. And another to let me know what you thought of it!
Also leave a comment if there is a certain trope you want me to find a freebie for.
xx,
