Hello Sweeties!
I’ve been off having a blast with the family. In June we hit Six Flags, White Water (multiple times), the Blairsville Highland Games, and spent a few rainy afternoons in the movie theater munching popcorn and giggling.
Not gonna lie, it is hard this summer cause it is the first time I’ve had an office job since Mermaid was born, and part of me hates not being able to take her to the library every three days for a new round of books. The upside? While I’m at work during the week she gets to spend one on one time with her Daddy being spoiled rotten. I mean when is the last time your dad took you to the water park and picked up your favorite take out on the way home just because it was Tuesday?
Book Stuffs …
I don’t even know where to start. So much has happened since my last update. I published Eagle Moon, put Sugar Moon and Brooke up for preorder and have been playing around with the next episode of Rent A Witch.
First things first - Thank you from the bottom of my ink filled heart for the response to Eagle Moon. I spent longer on this one trying to get the characters just right and it paid off. Everyone I’ve talked to loved them, the story, and the possibility of books to come. I don’t want to give any spoilers, but, yes Alice will get her own love story before the end of the series.
Second - The next book in the Love In The Woods series is working it’s way through Amazon’s system and should be up for preorder by the end of the day!
I never give spoilers, but … this one is gonna tug at your heart strings. Zoe has finally decided to try entering the world again one small step at a time after a traumatic attack made her seek sanctuary with her parents. Serlo, on the other hand, has been running missions with his brothers while dreaming of the woman meant for him. He may be the laid back brother, but that doesn’t mean his protective streak isn’t a mile wide when it comes to protecting his woman.
Third - Brooke is up for preorder too!
Her book picks up where Ember’s leaves off. You are gonna love the shenanigans that happen between Brooke and Loki. I’m not even going to get into all the ‘trouble’ little Hallie gets into - trust me there are some ‘awe!’ moments in there!
Fourth - I have some sad news. Booktober is not going to happen this year. If you follow my bookwives on the social medias then you know we all have so many books coming out by the end of the year. We don’t want to jip our loyal anthology fans of an amazing Halloween collection so we are going to make it a bi-annual anthology.
Don’t worry there will be plenty to read, and if you want something spooky go see what TK Eldridge is cooking up. Trust me you will get the chills you are looking for.
I think that is everything for today from my end. I can’t wait to hear from more of you on what you think of Eagle Moon!

PS
I am looking for a few people to interview in the LGBTQ community. I want to add some sexually diverse couples in my writing, but I know I need guidance to get it right. If you have time to chat please email me at shelly.ferguson.author@gmail.com or send me a DM on Instagram.
Aww, I got tagged! Thank you so much 💖
