Hello Sweeties,
I don’t know about you but this month is crazy for me. Both the kids have a birthday this month. Mermaid has her first band performance. Houseguests for Thanksgiving. Trying to crank out Sugar Moon. Oh, and I am working on holiday presents I make for the select few I know will appreciate handmade gifts.
To help keep my sanity I plan on reading the freebie below while hiding in the bottom of my closet for five minutes whenever I can. (If it is longer than that someone comes looking. Trust me I’ve timed it.)
You know the phrase rest in peace? As soon as I figure out how to stop dying and coming back to life, I'll let you know if it's true.
This city has always hated me. I've spent my life trying to save up enough money to clear my mom's debts—may she, at least, rest in peace—and get out of here. But right when I'm banking a huge bag of money to do just that... Bam. I'm dead. And then I'm alive again. Which would be great, except it happens again. And again.
Now, I need to figure out if I owe someone a fruit basket for bringing me back to life... or if they're just trying to kill me and doing a really crap job of it.
To complicate things, three super hot mercenaries—Darion, Silas, and Miles—have made it their mission to look out for me. They're all supes, by the way, although they won't tell me what kind. All I know is they won't let me handle this alone, no matter how hard I try, and they're starting to break through my walls as easily as they break through bad guys' heads.
The only problem is, I can tell they have secrets. I learned long ago never to trust people who keep secrets. Especially because I think this secret might have something to do with my little undead problem... Do I let them break down my walls, or will that just kill me forever this time?
Undead to Rites is a standalone reverse harem novel with multiple love interests, graphic on page intimacy, and MM romance. Warnings include murder, graphic violence, torture, suicide (from a character who cannot die and is not trying to), fire, and past assault. Intended for mature readers, 18+. Please read responsibly.
Please leave a note if you have read this one. I know I love Jade Bones writing, even if it is a lot darker than mine. Variety is the spice of life, right?
xo,
Shelly
It always feels like the last couple of months of the year are always crazy for everyone! I hope you survive with your sanity intact. I can’t wait for Sugar moon. I absolutely adore Jade, her writing is amazing!
