I did another thing.
I moved my newsletter service to SubStack.
Hey Sweeties.
Over the last year, my newsletter blew past 1,000 subscribers (yay!) which means I had to look at the service I use to send them. The old one was great but it was getting way too expensive.
So after talking to my author friends and doing research I’ve settled on Substack. It’s kind of like Patreon and email had a baby. You will still get my bi-monthly emails for free straight to your email, that won’t change. But I will also have a section for people who want to pay a little to get extra tidbits.
What I put in the paid side depends on what you want to see. An excerpt from the book I’m currently working on? Giveaways? I’m open to suggestions.
Now you want to know why I need to have paid subscribers - I am going to my first book signing in September and I need to pay for it. Plane tickets, hotel, all of it. Then after I get that under my belt and get past my nerves there will be more signings in the future.
